We are seeking MBA, MS graduates, with 3-5 years of prior work experience, and with an interest in strategy, technology and supply chain operations & manufacturing value creation. You must be strong on financial and operational KPI’s and processes. Ideally you have had prior experience in Consumer, Industrial or Healthcare products and services, or have worked with Technology companies that bring software product and services to market. As part of a select and highly skilled team, you will have the opportunity to get involved in multiple due diligence engagements across T&D and SC&M, working closely with our Operating Executives and Directors. Additionally, you will be encouraged to support and enhance existing client relationships and develop new client relationships with support from the broader team.

For Technology & Digital, a background in software companies as a product manager or a development team lead would be ideal, with exposure to agile processes.  Ideally you would have spent some time working either working developing software products or software services, experience in consumer, industrial or healthcare, or you have worked in a private equity firm or portfolio company. Exposure to technology development and delivery with.

For Supply Chain and Manufacturing, relevant experience in consumer or industrial product manufacturing, in one or more areas in the end to end supply chain from sourcing to delivery and transportation and logistics would be relevant.

As Practice Director, you will be expected to lead teams across a broad area of our Supply Chain Operations & Manufacturing or our Technology and Digital practices, providing leadership, guidance and development of our frameworks and methodologies as well as our execution efforts. With our teams you will develop the diligence tools and processes as well as metrics and KPI’s that drive identification of risks and opportunities for our clients in buy and sell side diligence projects.

Working with our sales teams and clients, to understand investment and operational goals and constraints, you will identify areas for value creation and innovation that are attractive to our clients to explore. On initiation, you will assemble the right team, project structure, timelines, milestones and deliverables to execute on and bring transformational change for our clients. We pride ourselves on top quality delivery and our Practice Directors take on the leadership of continually raising the bar on the quality of our practice development with a focus on flawless execution.

Experience in our core verticals, leading teams and developing practice methods and processes is needed for this role. With 10+ years of experience in either a consulting or operating role, you should have a record of successful client and project delivery experience with high levels of customer satisfaction.

We are looking for people who have a successful track record of business and functional transformation with a blend of operational, technological and digital skills, an entrepreneurial mindset and networks across Private Equity, Venture Capital, or Founder-led Growth Stage communities. With 15+ years of experience and prior exposure to Private Equity and Portfolio companies, you should be comfortable quickly assessing issues and synthesizing solutions that improve financial and operational parameters of the business. You would have demonstrated experience of having led and executed change management initiatives at scale, successfully delivering on targeted results.

You will help build the profile and reputation of Compass Point Partners Technology & Digital and Supply Chain/Manufacturing practices, specifically in the key pillars of Due Diligence, Value Creation, Innovation & Digital Pivots and Portfolio Optimization. You will have a bias-to-action mindset and the keen ability to build differentiated enterprises leveraging the firm’s operating partner capabilities, innovative and technological prowess, methodologies, and creative thinking. The Operating Executive or Director will deliver both advisory and interim management roles during diligence and post-close execution.
